Twenty-four

February 15, 2011

Two of my favorite people in the world celebrated their twenty-fourth birthdays last weekend. Fonzi on the 12th and Trina on the 13th.

February 12: The day started off with my planned breakfast surprise for Fonzi. Woke up at 4:00 am to get ready and had Maricel help me with the cooking (hehe). Then I went to his place at around 6:15 am. The challenge was how to get in the house, since he is a roomie there, and I couldn’t tell him to open the gate for me. I got there at around 6:30 am but no one was up yet. So I decided to give him a call, but he didn’t pick up as I found out later his phone was on silent mode. Good thing Lolo Kits was up after a while. I got in at around quarter to 7, knocked on the door and saw a very groggy Fonzi (haha, don’t get mad!). We had bacon, corned beef, sunny side up eggs, rice and orange-mange juice. It was delish!

And so the day went on, breakfast at his place, lunch at Roadhouse SM with Francis and then headed home to drop off the stuff.

By 8:00 pm, Francis and I were headed to Lorie’s Cafe to meet Fonzi, and have some fun and some drinks. My bestfriend Trina and her boyfriend Ken also went which made the night more awesome than it was! We all had tons of fun with the stand-up comediennes entertaining the crowd at the cafe. At the stroke of twelve, we all welcomed Trina’s birthday with a cute cake slice and sang the Happy Birthday song for both of my loves.

And the rest, as they say, is history! 🙂
